Who We Are

Built Differently.

MPL and IMI — two of America's longest-standing cultured marble manufacturers — are now one company, engineering commercial bathware for the way buildings actually get built.

Our Story

Two Names. One Source.

MPL and IMI have united as MPL | IMI, a division of American Bath Group, combining two leading cultured marble manufacturers under one forward-facing brand.

Focused exclusively on commercial showers, we deliver bases, surrounds, doors, and complete en suite solutions—supported by expanded capacity, streamlined production, and elevated design flexibility.

Meet the Team

Made in North America.

Manufactured domestically in 39 bathing-related manufacturing companies across the US and Canada. Shorter lead times, lower shipping costs, no port fees or tariffs.
Who We Serve

Solutions for Every Sector.

From high-volume hotel builds to code-driven healthcare suites, MPL | IMI engineers bathing systems for the demands of each commercial sector we serve — and backs them with specification, samples, and project management from the first drawing to the final walkthrough.

Hospitality

Brand-approved surrounds and integral bases engineered for fast, repeatable installs across hundreds of rooms — new build or renovation.

Healthcare

Hygienic, non-porous, ADA-compliant bathing systems for hospitals and outpatient facilities where cleanability is non-negotiable.

Senior Living

Low-threshold and roll-in showers that balance accessibility and safety with a warm, residential look.

Student Housing

Tough, low-maintenance systems that stand up to high-turnover residence-hall and off-campus use.

Multi-Family

Seamless, worry-free surfaces that end the recaulk-regrout-remediate maintenance cycle property managers fight every month.

Calligraphy

Our Calligraphy collection of decorative shower doors and finishes — design-forward options for spaces where the bathroom makes a statement.

Code Compliance

Engineered to Meet Code.

Every MPL | IMI system is engineered to clear the codes your project answers to — IPC and UPC plumbing requirements, IBC building standards, and ADA / ANSI A117.1 and TAS roll-in accessibility mandates.

Pre-sloped, integrally bonded shower pans meet drainage and accessibility requirements without field modification — so what you specify is what passes inspection. Submittal packages, compliance letters, and three-part CSI specs are available for every product line.
